Tan, age 6
My father used to work in a factory and my mother stayed at home to look after me. We moved to my parents’ hometown in the mountains when the factory closed. My mother and father now work as casual laborers. They do not earn enough for us to rent a house, so I sometimes live with my father and his parents and sometimes with my mother and hers. My mother and father do not like each other’s parents, so it is not possible for us to live together, but we are still a family and love each other.
I go to Ho Chi Minh City every two months with my parents for treatment for HIV, because my condition is not stable. I also take medication to stop me getting TB. Both my parents have HIV too, but they are healthy and able to take good care of me. By sponsoring Tan you can help us give him a better healthier life and brighter future by:
